Updated July 12, 2019: RetroArch is a new platform for emulators, game engines, old video games, and plenty of other applications that just so happens to also be open source. The developers of RetroArch want to help preserve the fantastic history of video games by making older games from a multitude of platforms more accessible to gamers with modern computers. All you'll need to pass the system requirements is a Pentium 4 alongside a GPU with shader model 2.0.

  • CPU: Intel Pentium 4 and up (CPU with SSE2 instructions required)
  • CPU SPEED: Info
  • RAM: 32 MB
  • VIDEO CARD: Any compliant OpenGL 2.x or Direct3D11 GPU. For shaders to work properly, should support at least Shader Model 2.0.
  • PIXEL SHADER: 2.0
  • VERTEX SHADER: 2.0
  • OS: Microsoft Windows 7
